Our Core Philosophy: “All of us, together!” and “You Are Not Alone”
It’s a feeling so many of us know: that sense of frustration when you face an insurmountable injustice or an impersonal system. ‘You are not alone’ is our answer. The story of Adhoc Support isn’t just about technology; it’s the story of a powerful new social perspective and a community built to stand with you and champion your cause through meaningful advocacy. Our work is driven by our core values of Community, Justice, Transparency, Empowerment, and Innovation. Our guiding principle is simple: All of us, together!
Our Journey: From a Vision to a Global Platform
The story of Adhoc Support is a multi-decade journey of vision, perseverance, and technological innovation, culminating in the world’s first AI-powered platform for community-driven justice.
The 1990s: An Awakening – A Vision for Community Advocacy
In the early 1990s, while working at CompuServe during the foundational years of the internet, Zoltan Petrasovits recognised a fundamental truth: human problems are never isolated, and our solutions shouldn’t be either. He saw that collective action and community-driven advocacy were the only real path forward. Described as “one of the defining figures in the organisation of the Hungarian Internet since 1995,” he co-founded initiatives like Hungarian Top1000.com, the country’s first statistical ranking site. During this time, Zoltan Petrasovits and Zoltan Mori dreamed of an organisation that would prioritise humanity, opportunity, and justice over profit. Though the legal frameworks and technology of the time lagged behind, the dream of this new form of advocacy was born – and it was never lost.
2008-2013: The Fire Rekindled – Building the Technological Foundation
In 2008, Zoltan Petrasovits and Peter Ivicz reignited the initiative, founding WebshopCompany Ltd. This venture laid the technological foundation for what would become a new era of digital justice and advocacy. By 2013, WebshopCompany Ltd. was formally established in the United Kingdom, providing a real, solid structure to the shared vision and serving as the technical backbone for Adhoc Support’s development.
2019: The Alliance of Vision and Technology
A transformative meeting occurred between Zoltan Petrasovits and Geza Koczian, a distinguished engineer and researcher in AI and telecommunications at the University of Essex. This alliance merged decades of entrepreneurial vision with rigorous scientific expertise. United by a shared goal to harness deep technology for social good, they began designing the platform that would become Adhoc Support – a tool built not just to resolve complaints, but to empower communities and shape a fairer society.
11 March 2025: A Movement is Born
On this day, Adhoc Support CIC was officially incorporated in the UK as a non-profit Community Interest Company (Reg. No. 16306685). This marked the moment when the long-held vision became a legal and operational reality. This legal structure includes a statutory “asset lock,” which guarantees that all revenue and assets are reinvested into our community mission, not extracted for private gain. Founded by Zoltan Petrasovits and Geza Koczian, it stands as the world’s first AI-based, community-driven system for advocacy, finally uniting technology, law, and community to serve the public interest.
