Featured Story: The MBH Bank “Google Fraud” Case
Community Action Leads to National Impact
In a case that has since been dubbed the “Google Fraud” by national media, Adhoc Support CIC and its media partners were instrumental in exposing a systemic phishing scheme targeting MBH Bank customers. Identifying the threat nine months before it became a national scandal, we organised a small group of victims into a 2,500-strong advocacy community.
Through structured data collection and strategic media communication, we proved the issue was not isolated customer error but a coordinated attack, forcing the bank to revise its approach and accelerating official investigations. This case is a primary example of our model: using technology and community power to achieve tangible justice and prevent future harm.
